Une enquête interne a été diligentée et le CHSCT saisi afin de déterminer avec précision les circonstances de cet accident. De même, une enquête judiciaire a été ouverte.

Selon la CGT, une première analyse réalisée entre ArcelorMittal, Actemium et le CHSCT montre un recours important à l’intérim par le sous-traitant. Pour cette intervention, trois intérimaires et un salarié d’Actemium avaient été mobilisés.
